One of the top concerns potential participants raise is whether a clinical trial will interfere with their job. For the vast majority of studies at NuLine, the answer is no, most participants work full-time throughout their study participation.
How Many Visits Are Required?
The number of visits varies by study, but most of NuLine’s current trials require between 5 and 14 visits over several months. Visits are typically scheduled on weekdays during business hours, though we work to accommodate participants’ schedules when possible.
How Long Does Each Visit Take?
Most visits last between 30 minutes and 2 hours. Certain visits, particularly the initial screening visit and any visit involving a study treatment, may take longer.

- Schedule morning appointments: Early slots mean less disruption to your workday
- Talk to HR about flex time: Many employers offer flex scheduling for medical appointments
- Plan around high-demand periods: If you have busy seasons at work, schedule study enrollment around them
