Step 1: Check-In
You will be greeted by a friendly member of our research staff. You will check in, confirm your identity, and review any updates to your health status since your last visit.
Step 2: Vital Signs
A medical professional will measure your blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation, and temperature using our clinical monitoring equipment.
Step 3: Physical Assessment
Depending on your study, a physician or nurse practitioner may perform a targeted physical exam. For skin studies, this typically involves evaluating affected areas and documenting scores like EASI or PASI.
Step 4: Lab Work (If Required)
Some visits include a blood draw or urine sample. Our certified phlebotomists are trained to make this as quick and comfortable as possible. Not all studies or all visits require lab work.
Step 5: Study Treatment or Assessment
You may receive a study medication, injection, or other investigational treatment, or simply complete questionnaires and assessments.
Step 6: Observation Period
After receiving a study treatment, you may be asked to wait in our comfortable waiting area for a brief observation period so our team can monitor for any immediate reactions.
Step 7: Compensation and Next Appointment
Before you leave, you will receive your visit compensation (if applicable) and schedule your next appointment.
How Long Does a Visit Take?
Most study visits take between 30 minutes and 2 hours, depending on the procedures scheduled for that visit. Our team will always give you an estimated time in advance.
