“I want to participate, but I’m worried about the time commitment.”
This is one of the most common things we hear from prospective participants. The truth is, most clinical trial visits are far less disruptive than people expect, especially at NuLine, where we work hard to schedule around participants’ lives.
Typical Visit Schedules
Here is what the time commitment looks like for NuLine’s current studies:
- Psoriasis Trial: 13 visits over approximately 57 days, roughly one visit every 4 to 5 days, with most visits lasting under an hour
- Eczema Trial: 12 visits over 24 months, approximately one visit every 8 weeks
- NEMLUVIO Observational: 5 visits over 12 months, roughly one visit every quarter
- Acne Trial: 14 visits over approximately 10 months, approximately one visit every 3 weeks
How We Accommodate Busy Schedules
Our coordinators understand that you have a job, a family, and a life. We offer:
- Morning appointment slots to minimize workday disruption
- Flexible scheduling for visits with wider visit windows
- Advance notice of required visit dates
- Rescheduling assistance when life happens
The Visit Window
Most study protocols allow a “visit window”, a range of days around the scheduled visit date within which the visit can be completed. This flexibility accommodates travel, illness, and schedule conflicts.
Transportation Support
For participants who have difficulty getting to our Oakland Park clinic, transportation assistance is available for certain studies. Ask our coordinator when you call.
